Description of roundtable discussion: In this lecture practicum we will learn in a playful and exploratory way by sensing, listening and feeling through movement how we relate to ourselves and how we develop the ability to relate to others. We use play as an active form of learning that unites the mind, the body and the spirit. Learn the importance of play in cognitive, physical and emotional development.

Description of practice: Margarita Menocal is a Physical Therapist. She has been active in this field for over 20 years. She is also a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and Member of the Feldenkrais Guild. She is immersed in the Holistic approach to healing and believes in the inner capacity for growth and development. Her services include Pediatrics, Schools, Early Intervention, Home Health Care and Orthopedics. Margarita teaches Awareness Through Movement and Functional Integration in group and individual lessons. She is a volunteer practitioner at the Parker Health Clinic in Red Bank, where she also serves as a medical translator.
