Bringing in some of my best books on color symbolism and scent triggers, I will discuss how we might incorporate the world of nature’s flowers and herbs to be our companions for healing. My goal is to instill in women that they have to thank themselves everyday for all they are doing by reintroducing the natural world into their lives.

We will try to allow each woman to visualize a memory from childhood that is pleasant and then discuss what smell(s) trigger that memory. I will discuss how Borage, Rosemary, Scented Rose Geranium, Pineapple Sage and Thyme are my herbal and floral (their scented flowers) scent and color companions. I will be able to bring Rosemary and hopefully some of my scented Geranium and Thyme for a touch, smell and tasting session. Because I am a writer, I would like to conclude by discussion the concept of a “floral bouquet” for communicating “thank you” messages. I will have created on my web site a “thank you” note visually communicated through a dozen roses, shaped into a heart, and surrounded by a ribbon of “thank you.” I’d like each woman to create a mental template for how they might create simple and yet powerful rituals for expressing gratitude. They can use my note. I’ll be pleased if every woman attending my workshop enthusiastically responds to the scents and colors of healing, and commits to revise time schedules to incorporate nature daily.
