Description of practice: Nurse Practitioner in primary care—assesses and manages acute and chronic diseases, including history taking, physical exams, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications and treatments. Emphasis is on health promotion and disease prevention. Medical office procedures include microdermabrasion—a cosmetic, non-invasive skin care treatment.

Currently practices within group practice consisting of internal medicine physicians (Riverview Medical Associates, in Holmdel, N.J.) and also is the nurse practitioner for Meridian Quality Care Assisted Living (The Sycamore, in Shrewsbury, N.J.)

Currently pursuing post-master’s certificates in both gerontology and holistic nurse practitioner programs at New York University.
